Participants. Our available simulations are: CLAIMS (Life Assurance) Developed with Eagle Star Life in 1991, has been used extensively since. CLAIMS is highly recommended for financial services companies due to specific industry objectives. Involves selling protection & investment products, marketing, distribution channel and portfolio management. TARDIS (Television Distribution) Set in the television industry,TARDIS is very quick to pick up as everyone can relate to products. It is ideal for away days and conferences and is very competitive! TARDIS has been used by many of our clients to experience the concept of simulations before designing a tailor-made solution. Involves import of products and distribution as wholesaler to retail outlets. The perfect choice for a company seeking a non industry related simulation. PRIMECIS (Medical Insurance) Designed with, and regularly used by BUPA as part of their Management Development Programme. Involves choices of products, pricing, corporate/private customers, commissions etc and distribution channels. TACTICS (Equipment Sales & Rental) Developed with Blick plc for their staff business challenge. Involves purchasing and customising equipment for sale or lease to customers. Also allows for sale of maintenance contracts. Promotes awareness of customer retention through leasing, and the value of future income streams on long term contracts. RUBICON (General Insurance) Used by Legal & General, covers product pricing, distribution channels, customer services, claims management etc. Powerful demonstration of how everything can go wrong if you don't watch out! COINIT & ICARUS are other versions reflecting different distribution channels. . PHOEBUS (Private Hospital Management) Developed for BUPA to helps Heads of Departments understand the financial and commercial mangement process of running a private hospital in a competitive marketplace. STARTUP (Cleaning) The simplest of all our simulations, used regularly since 1990 by TDA Consulting Ltd, by Barclays in their Graduate development course and by Nationwide in their branch managers' budget training. Tremendous as an introduction to business at a basic level. TRIBES (Television Rental) Developed for Thorn TV Rentals. Includes ordering, pricing, service and maintenance resource management with a strong emphasis on customer care and retention. Great simulation and easy to pick up, don't be frightened by the industry!. CHARISMA (Care Homes) Developed for BUPA Care Homes. The main focus is on helping home managers who have a nursing / medical background to grasp the realities of running a business for profit. POLARIS ( IFA Business) Designed initially for Eagle Star, also used by Clerical Medical and Sun Life as part of their staff development programmes. Involves the considerations of building an IFA business. Staffing, reward systems, expansion rate etc. The underlying principles can be used to illustrate the fundamentals of many small service or advisory businesses. BASIS (Life Assurance) Designed with Sun Life, our most complex simulation, which due to the time required for each decision period can best be used as the backbone of a structured management development programme. PROMISES (International Mail) Developed with Royal Mail International, reflecting their industry but could be appropriate for any industry where budgets, resource management and dealings with other agencies are involved. OPTICS (Opticians) Designed as an aid for the Boots Opticians Brand Partner programme, with the same objectives as BOTTLES, to help the change in mindset required from being an employee to a business owner. VORTEX (Mobile Phones) Designed for Vodafone for the Shop Manager programme,with similar objectives as BOTTLES and OPTICs, to help the manager's change in mindset to thinking about profit rather than volumes. PITSTOP (Motorway Services) Built for a leading firm of property management specialists to help their staff understand their clients business.
