*L & D Programmes and Conferences

When we run a simulation as part of a structured L & D programme we provide a fully tutored service.  We “assist” the delegates where required to make sure they know what they are doing, but we don’t help them make decisions. We suggest team sizes of 3 to 5 and four rounds each representing a year's trading.  After each year the teams are given management reports which reflect their performance, together with data about their competitors.

Whilst we would not ban the use of PC's we believe that a good old fashioned discussion about the issues and decisions to be made provides the best learning opportunities.

For away days and conferences a business simulation offers a “business“ based  alternative to raft building, The teams can be bigger and are suited to the “cabaret” style table layout.

At all of these events the time needed for decisions starts at about an hour and reduces - as the delegates get to understand the issues more quickly - to about 30 minutes.  The decisions are phased over the event between your own workshops and presentations.
